In what way(s) is your work and/or lifestyle environmentally friendly?
I am working on changing my materials and shipping supplies to be more environmentally friendly.
Describe your creative process in as much detail as possible:
For my cards, I get inspiration from everyday events, activities, and things. It might be a certain food I had that day or something that I heard someone say as they passed by. I’ll jot it down in my notes app on my phone – I currently have a never ending list.
What does it mean to you to be a member of an artist collective like ShopCraft?
It’s a great opportunity to learn from other local Buffalo artists.
How do you order your wings?
Extra crispy with extra sauce.
What is the most meaningful thing a customer/client has said to you about your work?
I once did a pet portrait for a client and they said it was the most heartfelt and endearing gift that they have ever received.
If you could share a piece of advice with people who think they are ‘not creative’, or don’t think their art is ‘good enough’, what would it be?
